REVIEWS AND FEATURES Featured Artist on Phantasmaphile
"I can't for the life of me recall how I came upon Joshua Field's magical, muted work, but I am so glad I did. I love his disjointed images which seem to be floating in an aetheric realm, communicating secret messages in some sort of visual code. It's like dream hieroglyphics or rebus puzzles from the unconscious. Beautiful."

Interview with Joshua Field on ArtSlant
"His paintings and drawings mix an abstract expressionist focus on surface with a wonderful sort of poetic storytelling."

"i love these works of art because they remind me of a dream world. they feel foggy, as if i am just waking up and trying to piece together all the fleeting moments of my night's subconscious. images that don't make sense together now, but in my dreams their marriage gave me no reason for pause."

Emerging Artist Auction on Daily Candy
“I am naturally drawn to drawings with fine lines and abstract qualities, and I love collage. This has all of those elements, plus I enjoy the uneven edge and the cutout areas. The time travel aspects of the piece are incredible.”

NearSay review of Glimpse at William Bennett
"Taking objects, animals, and historical imagery that look familiar yet putting them together in a surreal like context, Joshua Field's works really stood out."
